From concept through to completion
the brief
We believe that every project should be a direct expression of our clients’ needs and identity. During the initial brief stage we take time to learn and our clients, how they intend to use the property, lifestyle, and personal style. We ascertain as much information as possible using photographs, floor plans, timescales, and budget. We then create a detailed design proposal in which we outline the project brief and our design fee.
If applicable a comprehensive site survey will be undertaken to further investigate design direction.
concept design
Interpreting the brief, we present concept designs, consisting of initial concept boards to depict the overall look and feel we intend to create for each space and floor layouts, illustrating proposed furniture layouts and outlining any structural changes. This is a highly collaborative stage in which we invite our clients to give us as much feedback as possible to ensure we are on the same page.
it’s all about the details
Having approved the concept designs we progress to the design development and detail design stage. We present detailed 2d and bespoke joinery drawings, bathroom and kitchen layouts (following project outline) and small lighting plans.
fF&E design
The furnishing and styling phase of a project. From bespoke furniture design, soft furnishings, bespoke lighting, artwork selection to fabric schemes and finish specifications.
We procure high quality furniture and finally style the spaces to create an all-encompassing design presentation.
design project management
Our design team oversee the project from concept to completion, attending regular site meetings to ensure designs are being carried out to exact specifications and the project is progressing as planned and on budget.
Our strong relationships with trusted suppliers and trades people allows us to fully manage the project seamlessly through installation. We keep the client updated throughout the stage allowing them to enjoy the process with peace of mind.
